Accessibility Statement

The following adjustments, among others, have been implemented on the website:

• The website can be operated with a keyboard, including the menus, product filters, choosing product variants, the shopping cart and entering the order details.
• A clear visual indicator on the element that has keyboard focus.
• A skip link to the main content.
• A semantic structure with headings, navigation landmarks and components suited to working with assistive technologies.
• Alternative text for meaningful images, and empty alternative text for decorative images, as appropriate.
• Important changes in the interface, such as messages, quantities, the cart total and errors, are announced to assistive technologies.
• Labels and error messages are associated with the form fields.
• Focus management in dialogs, menus and drawers that open over the page content.
• The display and the text can be enlarged without the browser's zoom being blocked.
• Adaptation to screens of different sizes, including mobile devices.
• The page language and text direction are declared, in Hebrew and in English.
• Mechanisms for reducing and stopping motion and animations.

The website's carousels pause when they receive keyboard focus or when a pointer moves over them. In addition, motion and animations can be turned off from the accessibility adjustments menu.

When the user's device is set to prefer reduced motion, the website respects that setting.

The website has an accessibility adjustments menu with a range of tools and display adjustments, including:

• High contrast.
• Inverted contrast.
• Grayscale display.
• Black-and-white display.
• Larger text size.
• Adjustable word spacing.
• Adjustable letter spacing.
• A readable font.
• Link highlighting.
• Heading highlighting.
• Focus highlighting.
• Hiding images.
• An enlarged cursor.
• A reading guide.
• Turning off animations.
• Reading text aloud.
• Resetting the accessibility settings.

Display preferences are stored on the user's device only.

The adjustments menu is an aid and is not a substitute for assistive technologies such as a screen reader. The accessibility adjustments concerning the website's structure, semantics, keyboard navigation and forms are implemented in the website's code and do not depend on the menu being turned on.

The menu's read-aloud option is not a full screen reader and is not intended to replace dedicated assistive software and technologies.

The website was checked through code reviews, keyboard navigation tests, automated accessibility testing tools and usage tests with assistive technologies.

The tests covered a number of pages, interface states and screen sizes, in both the Hebrew and the English versions of the website.

As part of the testing, the website was checked for compatibility with screen readers and assistive technologies, including:

• NVDA.
• JAWS.
• VoiceOver.
• TalkBack.

In addition, automated accessibility tests run as part of the development process, covering, among other things, structure, the keyboard and accessibility components.

Automated tests and tests with assistive technologies help to find accessibility problems, but they cannot guarantee that no individual problem has gone undetected. We keep testing and improving the website's accessibility.

Despite the effort invested in making the website accessible, we are aware of a number of points that are still being addressed or reviewed:

• Some secondary text elements on the website were found to have a color contrast ratio below the required ratio, among them the breadcrumbs, the previous price, the SKU number and the table-of-contents numbering on the policy pages.
• The 404 page has a large numeric element whose design is under review as to whether it should be defined as decorative.
• The skip link to the accessibility settings may not work in the first few seconds after the page loads, until the accessibility component has finished loading.
• When the shopping cart drawer opens, the drawer name read out by assistive technologies does not currently include the number of items in the cart.
• On product pages, there are cases in which the price and the previous price do not include a full text description for assistive technologies.
• In one of the image display states on a product page, an interactive target was found to be smaller than the size recommended by WCAG 2.2 AA.

We are working to fix and improve these known points.

Part of the payment process on the website takes place through an external payment system operated by iCount.

The external payment page is not part of the CHAO MOBILE website's code and was not included in the technical accessibility review on which this statement is based.

If you encounter an accessibility difficulty that prevents you from completing a purchase or a payment, please contact us and we will gladly help you receive the service in an alternative way that is as accessible as possible.

CHAO MOBILE receives customers at its store in Dizengoff Center, Tel Aviv.

According to the information provided to us, the store and the complex have the following accessibility arrangements:

• The store can be reached along a route suitable for a wheelchair, with no steps that prevent access.
• An accessible elevator reaches the floor on which the store is located.
• Accessible parking spaces are available at Dizengoff Center or nearby.
• The store entrance is accessible to wheelchair users.
• Accessible restrooms are available in the complex.
• Inside the store there is space to move in a wheelchair and receive service.
